The year was 1992. My kindergarten graduation. I was recognized with the prestigious Creative Writing award.

At the ripe old age of five, did I even know how to string two words together? Probably not. But my kindergarten teacher saw something in me that’s only grown since.

To say I’m captivated by the story of the Bible would be an understatement. I’ve spent countless hours studying, simply out of a love for learning and a desire to walk more closely with the God who made me.

As a Bible teacher, speaker, and writer, combining my love for Scripture with my passion for communicating faith has led me to this next exciting step: launching this venture where all my favourite things come together!

On the blog, you’ll find personal stories from my own journey and the incredible things God continually reveals through Scripture.

But what I can’t get past is the heart of God revealed in the Scriptures for our real lives. The Bible isn’t just a collection of ancient stories with moral lessons; it’s the story of a God who wants to be with the people he created—that includes us! From beginning to end, the entire biblical narrative points to God with us, culminating in Jesus’ incarnation, death, and resurrection. All of it was so we could be reconciled to him. God with people—that’s the story of the Bible, and I welcome every opportunity to share why that matters for your beautiful life, too.

When I’m not writing or teaching, I’m usually nose-deep in a book or listening to a podcast. I also wear the hats of Wife and Mom—deciphering the code of my two pre-teen boys’ latest Gen Z/Alpha slang, keeping up with my grade-school daughter’s life goal of living with wolves in the wild, and dreaming big with my business partner/husband while enjoying his culinary creations.

Though I’m no chef or fashion guru, you’ll often find me experimenting with peanut butter and dark chocolate snacks while trying to stretch my dry shampoo one more day.
